Who gives you Validation?

What or who validates you? People...money? It is easy to point out how shallow others are while you could be shallower. Take a deep look at you and change today.

Giving Money To "Broke" People

People will be broke around you if you allow them to. Here are some other ways of saying it:
  • You could be enabling someone to be broke around you
  • You could be wasting your money on a lost cause who wants to use you
In  a nutshell, make sure that you are giving to someone who is really broke and not someone who pretends to be broke or else you are basically being "gold-dug" whether you are a man or woman.

How to Truly Help Someone

You might think giving people money and lavish gifts can make them love you.  Some might think that offering intellectual advice is also a way to reach out to the less fortunate.Nope ...it can actually make it more miserable. People need to know that you are truly interested in them with your whole being. Just remember that, as it has always been said that, "People don't care what you know until they know that you care."

Would you rather withhold money than give it? Do you do that sometimes just because you don't want to be a human bank or materialistic person? Well sometimes your money is all you can give.

Money isn't Love

Money might seem like a substitute for a romantic or platonic friendship but it isn't. One is a heart and the other is a piece of a paper. Even with your friends you have to make sure that you aren't a paper friend or bank. You need to show and prove your friendship with acts of love...that don't even involve money sometimes.

Blessing others Without Money

It is sometimes hard to know how to give someone something that isn't related to money. Sometimes monetary gifts can be shallow and meaningless. Be creative and find ways to give your time as a gift and leave your money in your pockets until next time.

How to be Happy

I watched a documentary called "The Economics of Happiness" today. All in all, I have never seen a film that challenged my perspective on money, globalization, and happiness. You should check out this video if you can because it will remind you of the importance of finding your happiness within your historic identity. Happiness is only as far as you make it and as close as you make it. Just ask your grandparents.

The Paradox of No Money and Too Much Money

There are so many paradoxes in life. Why do some of the saddest people happen to be rich? Why do some of the happiest people happen to have a little financial wealth? And of course these people with little want to eventually have less...so does that mean that they want to eventually be sad? Of course not. In spite of these paradoxes it is important for individuals to expose themselves to both sides of financial stories. A healthy exposure whether lived individually or lived through the experience of another can definitely help people to learn to not allow an abundance or lack of money to determine their happiness.

Money and life

Some might disagree, and say money is everything. Well money is something, but without other aspects of life added to it, money sometimes has the potential to illuminate  the shallowness of life. So yeah everybody gotta make their dollars, but don't make earning the money everything. Learn to make healthy compromises when it comes to money, but also be aware of the things that money can't buy like lost time with loved ones, health, and much more on your quest for money.
In other words, don't let money dictate the inner you....so try to "make the money work for you, instead of working for the money."
