The Meaning of Easter to Me
As a Christian, Easter means a lot to me. It's not only about the day but what the day celebrates. It's about resurrection. I truly believe that a man named Jesus existed and is the source of my existence, and reason to live everyday. I can't count the number of times that he has been dependable. He is the reason why I started this blog.
Happy Easter!!!!

Thoughts on Longing for the Future
If you need or want something and don't have it yet then don't cease to live. Enjoy where you already are. When the tide turns, you will get your desire. Just make sure your happiness isn't solely built on a future because you will get there and wish for another future. When will you enjoy the present?

Self-Jeopardization and you
You need to take time to understand who you are. Think about what makes you mad, sad, angry, happy, passionate and more. If you neglect the art of self-awareness you run the risk of jeopardizing your life by doing things that aren't you.

Dreams Still Come True
You need to be happy when others are happy. It does not matter whether it directly affects you or not. You don't have to wait for something sad in order to bond with someone. Try bonding with someone who is already at the top because they are proof that hope is alive and dreams still come true.

Being an Original You
What makes you happy? Do you still do what makes you the most happy? Don't punish yourself by living a life that you aren't meant to. Try your best to stay true yourself because true happiness comes from living your life while being true to yourself and allowing others to do the same.

How to Be Altruistic
What makes you the happiest? Why do you only want it for yourself? Why don't you try to give that happiness you most desire to someone else? Take time to think about others than yourself....you will always have you but not always others.
Embracing Your Feelings
Have you ever felt sad for no apparent reason? Maybe you have but then again there might be times that you were happy and didn't know how to explain it. Sometimes we have to learn to be patient with understanding ourselves. Don't waste your life over-analyzing yourself...live life and embrace the different feelings you face.

Treasure Your Blessings Before They Go
I wish that we could all have the ability to be grateful for what we have before it's gone. It is always so hard to do that especially when we are bombarded by images telling that we need more in order to be happy. You need to block out those images. Take a good look at yourself in and out just as you are and remember to thank God and others around for all you already have.

How to be Happy
I watched a documentary called "The Economics of Happiness" today. All in all, I have never seen a film that challenged my perspective on money, globalization, and happiness. You should check out this video if you can because it will remind you of the importance of finding your happiness within your historic identity. Happiness is only as far as you make it and as close as you make it. Just ask your grandparents.

3 Ways to Remain Happy On the Way to Your Goal
We all have goals and some of them are very long term ones. So with time also comes weariness and that is not the easiest thing to conquer. We need to not only enjoy the results of our labor but we should also enjoy the process. Here are some ways to remain happy while working on something that takes a lot of time:
- Take a day at a time and celebrate even your smallest accomplishments
- Encourage others along the way who are striving to reach their own goals which might be similar or different
- Find new and exciting activities that you love to do that can energize you when you are at low points

Making Sense of Sadness
There are a lot of sad things that daily happen in the world. Sometimes we try to make sense and figure out the whys and hows. It is a tough and heart breaking task and it is important to acknowledge that the world has some sadness as well as happiness. Just make it your goal to capitalize on the best for those near and far from you. So just think of creating happiness instead since it is more sensible.

The Paradox of No Money and Too Much Money
There are so many paradoxes in life. Why do some of the saddest people happen to be rich? Why do some of the happiest people happen to have a little financial wealth? And of course these people with little want to eventually have less...so does that mean that they want to eventually be sad? Of course not. In spite of these paradoxes it is important for individuals to expose themselves to both sides of financial stories. A healthy exposure whether lived individually or lived through the experience of another can definitely help people to learn to not allow an abundance or lack of money to determine their happiness.

The Connection between Happiness and Gratitude
Happiness and gratitude are not always discussed together or their connection is not always clear. How many times have you heard someone saying that if you want to be happy than be thankful? Maybe not many times but have you ever wondered how sometimes the people with the worst situations are still happy? Well one of the answers is because of that one word....Gratitude.

Happiness can start today
We don't have to wait for that big vacation or that romantic lover. Why? Like who made us believe that happiness is always further than where we are at? Don't waste your life putting your happiness price tag on a certain condition like a day, person, job, or any other thing. Just live your life with happiness everyday and learn to enjoy it with the big and small things in this life. Or you will never be happy even when the designated time to be happy comes. Any thoughts anyone?

Creativity and life and nature
There is something special about you and the way you do things. There is something special about you and the way you approach life. There is something special about you and the way you see "you" and others. Don't let that go at any cost...don't lose your history...don't lose your values. For in all that and more is the spark of creativity. Hold on to "you" and reach out with getting lost, and inspire yourself and others with the beauty of creativity in each and everything you do...Don't let go of it, as creativity is a rare commodity.

Living in harmony
Harmony has a magical tingle on my tongue. It reminds me of peace and all those good feelings but I don't hear it used that much. I think there is something wonderful about having an inner peace that leads to harmony with those around you. Let us strive for harmony wisely in everything we do. Take time to listen to the experienced and they can share with you the road to harmony. Harmony is golden my friends:)

Love and trust...trust and love
I think that "I love you" is sometimes easier to say than, "I trust you." Because trust is not the easiest thing, although to truly enjoy loving someone you have to trust them totally. A lack of trust is actually something very dangerous that has the potential to break the best of relationships. A lack of trust is toxic. So it is important to get rid of any emotional, physical or psychological baggage related to trust in order to have the freedom to build trust in your relationships a day and step at a time. Honesty is of course an essential step in doing so...don't be afraid...just say it. But watch how you say what you want to say...Timing is key or else you might end up tearing down your relationship instead of building it.

Seeing the good in and through the ugly and bad
A lot of the same things happen to people everyday. It is very interesting how everyone chooses to react. I bet all of those know those people who always have the right attitude everyday. Do they have perfect lives? Heck no, I don't think so. They have just mastered the art of blocking out apparent negativities that can darken their days. It is possible and has been done countless times. So in whatever you are going through don't let your circumstances determine your reaction. Just lay back and close your eyes, and choose to search or hold on to the past, present or coming good. Believe that life is beautiful.
