The Power of Forgiveness

Wouldn't you want someone to forgive if you really did something bad to them? I bet you would. But then again you have to remember that there are some people who will knowingly or unknowingly hurt you and you still have to forgive them. If you don't you are living in bondage even if it feels like freedom.

In Pursuit of Wisdom

As we live a day at a time we sometimes feel a part of us thirsting for knowledge and not only that but wisdom. But we should not let that feeling end there...we should find ways to practice what we think is wise. It may be bitter but it is a sure way to do a self-evaluation of yourself in order to know how wise you have become.

Trust and promises...promises and trust

When it comes to daily relationships or even the corporate world, many of us want people we can trust...that is dependable people. Trust is indeed an important character. As for some people when it comes to choosing a life partner, trust is one of the most important things beyond even money, looks and other criteria. And it hurts when someone you trust doesn't keep a promise, but don't get bitter, but instead use that experience to motivate you to keep your promises. And, yeah don't make promises you can't keep for  the sake of the moment. Be strategic and truthful a day at a time, as you build blocks of truth, as there is no need to make a promise you can't keep in the first place.

Seeing the good in and through the ugly and bad

A lot of the same things happen to people everyday. It is very interesting how everyone chooses to react. I bet all of those know those people who always have  the right attitude everyday. Do they have perfect lives? Heck no, I don't think so. They have just mastered the art of blocking out apparent negativities that can darken their days. It is possible and has been done countless times. So in whatever you are going through don't let your circumstances determine your reaction. Just lay back and close your eyes, and choose to search or hold on to the past, present or coming good. Believe that life is beautiful.

Forgiving and letting go...

Have you ever wondered why forgiveness is sometimes so hard? Why do we always want to expect that others will never wrong us? Of course there is a difference between forgiving someone for backbiting, and forgiving someone for doing something serious like murder. But one way  or the other, I think that realizing forgiveness is a two way street is a part of healing. Thus, in order to forgive others for anything, it is also important to make the decision that you don't want to remain hurt, vengeful, bitter or disappointed. Sometimes I think forgiveness is a choice we make when we decide whether we want to keep holding onto destructive pain ...or do we want to let go of the pain so we don't keep repeating the cycle in our minds and potentially harm others?
