#7 Don't be surprised if those closest to you hurt those who are dear to you. We are all imperfect humans at the end of the day.

When I Have A Daughter

When I have a daughter, I will teach her to love others. I will also teach her to believe in herself to the extent that she doesn't love others because she can't love herself.

When I have a daughter, I will teach her to respect those behind and ahead of her because they can and will influence parts of her.

When I have a daughter, I will teach her to be herself because at the end of the day, that will be the greatest gift she can give to God, herself, and the rest of humanity.

3 Ways to Go Out and Meet People

Whether it's at work, school, church, or anywhere there will always be the issue of socializing. As humans, at our very core we desire to get know many others humans and have them as companions. This could fall under friendships, romantic relationships, or whatsoever. Here are some ways to get out and meet people.

1. Involve yourself in different organizations at your school, workplace, or in your neighborhood
2. Ask your friends to introduce you to their other friends
3. Get to know your friends well and soon they will introduce you to their families which is a potential network that you can be a part of

Family is family

Everybody is from somewhere, and even if you don't know your family, you still have a family history. We always end up moving here and there in the journey of life but don't forget your family. Apart from you all carrying the same DNA, there are so many other things that you all can share along the journey of life. And for those who have a family which has no biological ties, then take pride in that too, as there are some people in life who can be just like family. These are the people who have your best interests at heart no matter what you did or did not do. Recognize these people in your life and hold on to them because they are also "family."
