How to be an Effective Networker

We often get introduced to many people everyday. There is no telling who is connected to who. We don't even know who it is that we will want to connect with in the future. Here are some tips to help you maintain your connections in peace:
  1. Watch your mouth. Don't always say what you truly think about someone. Some things are best left unsaid. In fact, no one is perfect including you. So focus on the positives of your connections.
  2. Watch your keyboard. Don't waste your time, energy, and resources reaching out to connections who seem to have no time for you. When the season is right, they will respond. If the time never comes then let it go. Not all connections are meant to be used.

Reasons to Travel to other Parts of the World

We all seem to enjoy staying in one place sometimes while some of us have the travel bug. Well today I will share some reasons as to why you should let the travel bug bite you and here they are:

  • Travelling helps you to see your identity through the eyes of another

  • Travelling widens your  knowledge of the methods of communication

  • Travelling can be an avenue for meaningful network

  • Travelling can help you to pick up  a new hobby or interest or even find out that you had a talent that you never thought you had

So don't be afraid. The world is much smaller and travel is getting cheaper. Start to begin travelling a place at a time even if it is within a local area and when you get the wings you will be free to go global.
