Is Marriage For You?

I came across an article some weeks ago about selflessness in marriage. I was so curious to read it and later realized that it was all about selflessness. The article also made me wonder whether some people are not meant to marry. Could it be because of excessive selfishness or excessive selflessness? Either way you need to have a balance before or after you marry someone or your selflessness might  make you resentful if you have a selfish partner. On the other hand, of course if you are selfish in marriage it won't really make sense because marriage is all about sharing everything.

Setting Your Own Marriage Standards

Sometimes we get carried away with trying to do every single thing that celebrities do. They are human just like us and have their weaknesses. Some people might have enjoyed modeling their life after Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner but as you can see...at the end of the day everyone has problems. Don't focus on trying to orient your marriage according to a reality tv show...focus on your marriage as it is and make it your reality.

Weddings are so...

One of my friends got married this week. I can vividly remember the short time that we knew each other. All in all it was a blessing getting to know her. And yes she is the reason that I am writing about weddings today. Of course, there is nowadays so much negativity about weddings and marriage. Why is that the case? People have become too pessimistic and hopeless when it comes to marriage. Nothing is easy in life including marriage...it's all about 2 people putting in their all everyday. And yes, it is for the strong of heart and not the weak.

We usually hear about marriage every day. Everyone seems to have their own idea of what it takes to make a good marriage. At the end of the day you just have to decide what tips to take or leave. There is no universal formula for success in marriage but take heart you can make your own unique formula for your ideal marriage.
