Encouraging Those Around You

I am so excited that my roommate from highschool won a regional beauty pageant. The interesting thing is that even in high school, I could tell that she might have a future there although she never mentioned it. The moral of the story is that if you see something in someone please be kind enough to uplift them with words of encouragement. You just never know who you might be around.

How to not be too Kind

Just because you are kind to someone does not mean that other people will be kind to you. Look into history and you will find out that a lot of decent and generous souls have been mistreated. So be kind while watching your back.

Doing Random Acts of Kindness On Your Very Own Birthday

Sometimes on our birthdays all we think about is recieving. What if we thought about giving? Why not give back in gratitude to whichever higher power you believe in? Try doing a certain number of random acts of kindness in proportion to your age. So if you are 23 then during the week of your birthday do 23 random or even anonymous acts of kindness.

Humility and rising

Some people might think humility is a bad thing, but sometimes we don't even have to look so far, as nature shows us that being "lower like an ocean can give you power from rivers."And from that power, guess what? You can use to positively impact the lives of people around you and even afar. Also, just remember that no matter what your plight in life is, it's not all about you. Somebody must have made your life easier in one way or another, even directly or indirectly. So be humble and give back everyday in big and small ways, that is the essence of human life and nature.

Good thoughts versus Bad thoughts

Everyday in life we are faced with good and bad things. We also have the freewill to choose our reactions, but not without a battle always. Sometimes we want to do good and end up doing bad. The inner battle of vice versus virtue is not the easiest even when we know what is right. A little ounce of encouragement for those fighting inner demons is remember; You can still decide which "wolf" to feed a day at a time.

Kindness is golden...

In our everyday experiences it is sometimes easy to forget the beauty of kindness. There is always someone around who could do better with a little kindness. Let us take time to think about someone around who is despised the most for a reason or no reason at all....kindness can definitely help that person. Also, don't forget to be kind to those who have been so loving and supportive through everything.

And if you got any enemies ...the hate will kill you in big and small ways...so try to kill the hate with kindness before it kills you.

Great Saturday everybody!
