Don't be Mind-controlled
Don't be ignorant because whatever you are ignoring could control you consciously or unconsciously.

Self-control and External Challenges
What makes you want to wake up every morning? Is it money, your friends, your family? It may not be one thing as it may depend on what is your primary motivational force. But whatever it is don't let that motivating factor control you...learn to control your life and be happy even in the midst of external challenges.

Self control and you
Have you ever tried controlling an adult? It is useless. Children are the ones who need such control, instruction, or guidance. But when you and others grow older, you just have to let it be. You have to let it be, and to not forget that the easiest way to stay sane, in the midst of whichever chaos is to control yourself. Don't waste your time trying to control external factors. Instead, take the time to know "you" in depth, so you can control your reactions to the ups and downs of life.

Silence is sometimes loud
Silence is sometimes golden. When I think of some of the people I admire, they all share one thing in common; they use silence at the right time. Silence when used right or in moderation is a great teacher to the self and others.
Sometimes we just need to take a break from all the noise and distractions and remain silent. Through silence we can spare ourselves a lot of pain or confusion; as remaining silent can give you more time to think before you open your mouth.
I believe some of the greatest ideas are born out of silence applied at the right time!
Great day everyone!!!!

Attitude determines your altitude
There are times in life when you might feel like nothing is working out. You might even feel like giving up, and simply just existing for the sake of it. But a bad attitude won't take you so far. So let us learn to change the inner parts of us beginning with our attitudes....which is a changeable thing before seeking to change the outer circumstances.

What in the world do I do with anger?
I don't know how often you all face this emotion. I have known some people who used to not get as angry quickly but now constantly battle against it. One of the guiding principles of life I guess is acknowledging that there is a problem. So if you are getting angry quickly and staying angry for a long time...and it could be either at yourself, others or things...it is time to ponder on this emotion.
Sometimes we might possibly convince ourselves that we enjoy being angry due to different factors. However, in the long run anger damages us and robs us of all other pleasant emotions. So when we get angry we have to realize that we have to find a way to deal with the anger in a constructive manner. For some people it could be writing down their thoughts, for others it is maybe counting to ten while maybe for others it involves immediately confronting the matter.
In whatever you do, please remember that anger is an emotion that when fed on leads to a lot of bad things. Angry people kill, rob, and even hurt people in the heat of the moment even if they were angelic. That is why we need to not shy away from helping ourselves and others to deal with anger.
Happy day!
